The hard, fascinating life of a 52-year-old pizza delivery guy
for those who dont know this about me, ive spent all of the last three years ive lived in new york delivering food on a bicycle to make ends meet.
its hard fucking work for what amounts to about two dollars a delivery. one billion dollar company orders $600 to $1000 of food a DAY and gives us a lousy $30 a trip. for those doing the math at home, that amounts to about a 3% tip.
its rough and its dangerous and people are oftentimes crap tippers, but theres something addictive about it.
and hey, it pays the rent and lets me keep shooting.
